The name « NUIT CLOSE » has been inspired by the work of Louis Calaferte, a deep and amazing writer. 
His universe is deep, thick and turned to the inside of the man as the atmosphere of a big forest could be, a dark and dwelling forest. Target of the deads, different levels of penetration, thinking bones, murder temple...


NUIT CLOSE was based in 1996 by Le Hibou, one year after Trident joins this musical hell and much later James...
the members of the group separated by 1999.


"Nevertheless five albums were conceptualized and registered without ever being published".


Since 2007 Le Hibou in redo to arise from these ashes NUIT CLOSE and continues tireless and determinedly this project. 
In 2008 re-appears Trident of the infernal abyss, and to them two on an air of Haendel resume the torch to finalize albums in short and continue the work of NUIT CLOSE.
